Tam Tam introduces Web Marketing Services

Monday, November 14th, 2005

As of now Tam Tam, the company I work for, will supply it’s customers with Web Marketing Services, starting with;

  • Site Statistics
  • Statistics Analysis
  • Search Engine Advertising (SEA)< li>
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • E-mail Marketing

It is not that we just started these services and have never done these before. For example; we’ve been doing E-mail Marketing for years; through our own built application, Microsoft Commerce Server and recently with our new application. The software and marketing industry keeps changing : so are we. Last year we upgraded our statistics server with the newest version of Webtrends Enterprise and are now keeping up to date with their software releases. Since then more and more of our customers ask for help with analysis of their statistics.

Search Engine Advertising will be big the coming year. We see a great increase of activity of our clients towards Google Adwords and other online advertising. Though many companies have heard of Search Engine Optimization, there is still a world to win here. They do agree it is important but have no budgets available for it. I expect most companies will try Search Engine Advertising first and go for Optimization in a later stage. My advise; do not wait – get yourself the good positions before your competitors get them.

I’m sure more Web Marketing Services will be added to our list. I will keep you updated here.

Key Performance Indicators / performance-based pricing and E-Mail marketing

    Sunday, November 13th, 2005

E-Consultancy published a short briefing from a recent E-consultancy roundtable that focused on Web Analytics, where key trends, issues, tips and tricks were discussed by attendees. I noticed that Webtrends is one of the attendees. Here are the important parts of the discussions:

    • In order to embrace web analytics effectively, it is important to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for online which relate to overall business objectives.
    • The web analytics vendor community still has more to do in order to demystify data and turn statistics into insightful and actionable recommendations.
    • There is demand for performance-based pricing.
    • Web analytics can go hand in hand with email marketing.
    • In terms of integration, difficulties remain in matching up web analytics information with CRM data. More sophisticated web analytics packages can now allow this to happen.

    Welcome to my blog

    Wednesday, July 20th, 2005

Is your life complete without a blog ? Not really I think so here it is – my first blog to tell you all interesting things that are happening in my webmarketing life. I wanted to share the Eyetools site I just found: http://www.eyetools.com They describe their services as “Eyetools provides tools and services to measure eye-movement as people look at webpages to quantify what people read, what they don’t read, what they glance at, what they skip, and what they never see… — and then we correlate this to their clicks, comments, and actions.”
